Privacy

Effective 25 September 2026. This page explains the privacy principles guiding Bikr during its private development phase.

Our core principle

Bikr separates information about a motorcycle from personal information about a rider. Motorcycle records may be transferable when ownership changes. Personal rider information is not transferred by default.

Information Bikr may hold

Depending on the features you use, this may include account details, motorcycle identity and specifications, odometer readings, service and maintenance records, modifications, ownership events, uploaded documents and communications with support.

Bike-owned and rider-owned information

Bike-owned information may include VIN, model, kilometres, service history, modifications, workshop evidence and ownership events. Rider-owned information may include personal routes, private notes, preferences and personal ride activity. Bikr's product design keeps these categories separate.

How information may be used

Information may be used to provide and improve Bikr, maintain motorcycle records, issue maintenance reminders, support controlled ownership transfers, respond to enquiries, protect the service and comply with applicable law.

Sharing and transfers

Bikr does not sell personal information. A motorcycle passport transfer must be deliberately initiated and accepted. Account credentials and private rider information are not part of a bike transfer.

Storage and security

Bikr is being designed with access controls, secure authentication, data minimisation and auditability. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and final production controls will be documented before public release.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with a Bikr test account. See Delete account for the current process.
